About the Role
We are looking for a talented Associate Gameplay & Technical Art Programmer to bridge programming and art in our team. You’ll help build gameplay systems, develop shaders and tools, and work closely with designers, artists, and audio to bring creative ideas to life. This role is perfect for someone early in their career who wants mentorship while contributing to both technical and artistic aspects of game development.
Key Responsibilities:
– Implement and maintain core gameplay features (movement, AI, UI, inventory, etc.).
– Support technical art needs: shaders, VFX, lighting, and performance optimization.
– Develop Unity editor tools and automate workflows to boost team efficiency.
– Collaborate across programming, art, design, and audio teams.
– Debug, profile, and optimize code and assets for stability and performance.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
– Feature Delivery Rate – % of gameplay and technical art features completed on schedule.
– Bug Resolution Efficiency – Average turnaround time for fixing gameplay/visual issues.
– Code & Asset Quality – Peer review feedback, stability of integrated systems, and adherence to
coding/art standards.
– Performance Benchmarks – Meeting FPS, memory, and stability targets across devices.
– Iteration Velocity – Speed of prototyping and implementing new mechanics, shaders, or VFX.
– Cross-Team Collaboration Score – Feedback from art, design, and programming teams on
responsiveness and communication.
– Tool & Workflow Impact – Measurable improvements in team efficiency from tools or pipeline
automation.
– Knowledge Contribution – Documentation updates, workflow guides, and standards maintained.
What We Are Looking For:
– 1-3 Years’ work experience.
– Strong foundation in C# and Unity.
– Understanding of gameplay systems and/or technical art pipelines.
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Eagerness to learn and grow under the guidance of senior developers.
– Interest in shaders, VFX, or workflow tools is a plus.
– Passion for games
